The J.F. Shea Center for Therapeutic Riding Center is a non-profit therapeutic riding center located in beautiful San Juan Capistrano in Southern California.

The mission of The Shea Center is the improve the lives of people with disabilities through horse-related activities.

 Support for our programs comes from private donations, we do not receive federal or state funding. A main source of our revenue comes from our Annual Gala and our Annual BBQ & Family Faire fundraising events each year. 

The Annual BBQ & Family Faire is an event like no other. It puts our services on display through facility tours, demonstrations and a program that highlights our clients. Guests also enjoy entertainment, a family faire (carnival), and live music and dancing. 

We have limited ticket availability to maintain safety for our event.
